SCHOLARSHIP

Dr. Schattler’s scholarly accomplishments and research contributions in transportation engineering have received national and state awards/recognition for their impact on highway safety and design. She has been successful in collaborating in over $1,943,000 in external grants and $10,000 in internal grants while at Bradley University. She has been a principal investigator (PI) on 22 research grants (20 external and 2 internal), engaged and supported 95 undergraduate and graduate students financially, mentored and invited 10 faculty to collaborate with her in research, published 13 technical research reports, and has led several national training workshops. The impact of her work in the field of transportation engineering has been truly transformative.
