Professional development activities in the last 5 years:

Implemented the Kiel Integrated Development Environment (IDE) as the laboratory platform for all Intel 8051 based microcontroller system development to provide students exposure to a professional level IDE

Expended significant time and effort expanding my knowledge of the VHDL hardware description language, and researching the various hardware and software environments available to determine the most reliable and user-friendly IDE for CPLD/FPGA design in the ECE laboratories
