Turning Goals Into Reality
“Through an Independent Study in the program, I was able to research and develop the idea I'd been dreaming about for years: a nonprofit yoga studio.
I wrote a business plan, won third place in Bradley's Big Idea competition, and formed a board of directors. l graduated in May 2018 and launched Soulside Healing Arts June 1st. In our five years, we've grown to a team of 15+ teachers who offer yoga and mindfulness in our pay-what-you-can studio as well as in social service agencies, workplaces, and schools. Our mission is to increase access to trauma-informed holistic wellness practices and we do that by building a team of diverse teachers and supporting them through trauma-informed trainings.
The support of Bradley staff throughout the launch of Soulside has been invaluable!”
