Dr. Amanda Scott, Department Chair and Associate Professor, stands at the forefront of occupational therapy education at Bradley University. With more than two decades of experience as an occupational therapist, she exemplifies excellence in her field.
Scott specializes in neurocognitive disorders, lymphedema management, post-acute care management, program development, and quality assurance process improvement. She takes pride in mentoring students as they complete their capstone projects and providing students with assistance in developing publications.
Her national service includes roles with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), where she contributes her expertise as a geriatrics board certification reviewer and serves as the Policy and Advocacy Coordinator for the Productive Aging Special Interest Section.
ADMISSIONS AT A GLANCE
Applicants to Bradley University’s online occupational therapy doctorate may apply with either a bachelor’s in OT or a master’s in any field. However, all applicants must have an active state license in occupational therapy that is in good standing and a minimum of one year of experience working as an OT.
