BIOGRAPHY
Dr. G.G. Md. Nawaz joined Bradley University as an assistant professor in fall 2021. Prior to Bradley, he was an assistant professor in the Department of Applied Computer Science, University of Charleston, WV. Prior to that, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Automotive Engineering, Clemson University, SC and with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

SCHOLARSHIP
Dr. Nawaz research interest includes vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication, data and sentiment analytics, network coding, data broadcasting, real-time scheduling, software-defined vehicular networks (SDN-VANET), and mobile computing. He has published papers in the fields of intelligent transportation systems, vehicular networks, wireless communication, and sentiment analytics. Dr. Nawaz received the best paper award of IDETC/CIE’2019, IARIA ICCGI’14. He received the student travel grant award of ATNAC’11. He is the recipient of the outstanding academic performance award ’13 from the City University of Hong Kong.

SERVICE
Dr. Nawaz is a professional member of IEEE. He is an editorial board member and referee for journals and conferences in the areas of vehicular networks, intelligent transportation systems, wireless communication, and sentiment analytics.
