Admissions for the Online Engineering Bachelor’s Program
Admission to the online Civil Engineering program is based on a review of each applicant's academic and professional background to determine their likelihood to be successful in the program. Qualified applicants must have completed mathematics through at least precalculus, and have either an academic background that includes preparation for college level sciences or relevant technical or professional experience.
Admissions for Transfer Students
Visit Bradley University's Transfer Guides webpage to find links to equivalency guides from community colleges. If your college is not listed, an individual evaluation of your transfer credit will be completed at the time that you apply. Please contact the admissions office if you have further questions.
Application Materials:
- Completed application
- High school and/or college transcripts
- Students may submit either an unofficial or official transcript for consideration for admission. If an official copy of the transcript is not provided at the time of application, an official copy must be sent prior to enrollment.
- Transfer applicants must include all prior college level transcripts; depending on how many college credits you have completed, the admissions office may also request high school transcripts.
- One-page personal statement
- Optional: One academic or professional letter of recommendation. Applicants may elect to include a reference letter from a teacher or professor, supervisor, or employer.
- Optional: Resume. Applicants who have been out of school for an extended period of time or have relevant experience are encouraged to provide a resume to help the admissions committee understand your background.
Entrance Examinations
Bradley University does not require or use any standardized test scores, unless required to meet our English language proficiency requirements.
Admissions for International Applicants
Admission to Bradley University’s online program is open to US citizens, permanent residents, and individuals with certain eligible immigration status who reside in the United States. Individuals who require visa sponsorship to study at Bradley are not eligible to apply to our online programs.
Eligible international applicants may be asked to provide proof of English proficiency if they do not qualify for a waiver.
